Dr. Laura Bechthold has worked as an entrepreneurship researcher and social entrepreneur. Before, she has pursued a PhD from in the field of “Fostering Female Entrepreneurship” at the Max-Planck-Institute for Innovation and Competition and was program coordinator & and lecturer at the Center For Digital Technology and Management (CDTM).
She holds a B.A. in Corporate Management & Economics from Zeppelin University, a M.Sc. in Sustainability Science and Policy from Maastricht University, and a Master of Business Research from Ludwig-Maxmilians-University in Munich. During her studies she co-founded a social business agency which supported social institutions in developing and implementing social business models.
